Diamonds a dozen

If you had walked into the Taj Blue Diamond hotel in Pune on a particular sunny April weekend, your eyes would have been dazzled. The Vintage and Classic Car Club of India were holding their annual rally, and the response from automotive enthusiasts was tremendous. There was a massive turnout of lovingly maintained cars and bikes from various parts of the country, and judging was obviously difficult. Here are some glimpses of the event.

In between: Vijay Mallya’s 1903 Humber next to Fali Dhondy’s Ferrari 308 GTSi – the oldest and the ‘youngest’ car in the event. This picture got Param the best photograpy award from VCCCI.
