Toyota recalls continue

Toyota Motor Corp will recall more than 600,000 cars in Japan including the high-end Crown sedan and Lexus IS and GS models for three separate defects, some of which overlap across models.

In a filing with Japan's transport ministry, Toyota said 11 models were covered in one or both of the defects, involving the fuel pump wire and brake master cylinder. The 599,029 cars covered in that recall were manufactured between May 2002 and March 2006. No accidents were reported.

A separate recall of 1,869 Voxy and Noah minivans was due to a faulty speedometer.
