The Toyota Etios gets a lot of flack for having interiors that don't exactly cut the mustard. But with this new refresh, it hopes to solve that problem.
With this refresh, the twins will now come with a new chrome-lined front grille, new rear view mirrors with built-in indicators and new tail-lights out back. There's also a new colour on offer, called classic grey.
On the inside, the Etios and Liva now come with a two-tone interior that should make it feel more premium on the inside. The one piece seat design makes way for a new seat design with an adjustable head-rest and height adjustable driver's seat.
There will also be new variants across the board. The Etios sedan will come in a new 'J' variant for the diesel, which will be the new entry-level model, while the Liva gets an uprated TRD Sportivo version.
This time around, instead of just cosmetic changes, the TRD version gets a 1.5-litre 87 bhp engine instead of the 1.2-litre one found in the other Livas.
Prices for the Etios start at Rs 5.45 Lakh for the petrol versions, while the diesel will run you Rs. 6.7 Lakh
The Etios Liva starts at Rs 4.46 Lakh while the diesel starts at Rs 5.72 Lakh. The new TRD Sportivo will cost you Rs 6.13 Lakh.
All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
