Based on the Tata Nano, the Pixel is Tata's two-door, four-seater concept car that is aimed at an urban European market. The car will have a unique turning radius and will almost be able to turn almost on the spot, making it ideal as a city runabout. Another feature unique to the car are the doors. The car features scissor doors that open upwards, enabling you to ingress and egress even when parked in a tight spot. The Pixel will also come with an unusual user interface that is based on the iPad. No buttons and knobs, all controls can be accessed via a user-friendly touch screen.
Ratan Tata was present to unveil the concept at the Geneva Motor Show. And if Tata's history at the Geneva Motor Show is anything to go by, this car too ought to hit production soon.
