We brought you the leaked photos of Land Rover's newest SUV offering, the all new Range Rover Sport. And now, the final version has just been unveiled at the New York Auto Show.
Looks wise, it's somewhere between the Evoque and the new Range Rover, which sounds about right considering its positioning, too.
As we said eariler, it moves to the new all-aluminium platform, which nets it weight savings of over 360 kg over the previous model. This, of course, makes it the fastest, most-agile and responsive Land Rover ever.
Under the hood of this car will be either a 340 hp V6 or a 510 hp supercharged V8 engine, while on the diesel front, we expect the new 3.0-litre V6 and 4.4-litre V8 engines to make their way under the hood. All engines will be mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic unit.
The RR Sport is also now available with the option of a third row of seating, bringing the seating capacity of the Sport to 5+2 people.
With all this and an interior to match, you can be sure the new Range Rover Sport will set the sales charts on fire. No news on an India launch yet, but keep watching this space for more updates and news from the New York Auto Show.
