The new A-Class from Mercedes-Benz is a landmark car in that it previews the design language of all the future Mercedes cars. It will soon be available to the masses in Europe, but before they can get their hands on it, the chaps over at the German National Football Squad got a chance to experience it. Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg were also present at the event to give the squad a ride they won't be forgetting anytime soon.
The squad themselves had a go at the new A-Class, but with the likes of Schumacher and rosberg around, it was only a matter of time before they were behind the wheel. Four players from the squad and the Mercedes AMG drivers bundled into the cars for an 18 km loop around the Haute province that the football training camp was situated.
After the drive, it was the football team's turn to return the favour, so the drivers and players took to the field for a short football session. Hopefully, Schumacher won't be leaving F1 for Football anytime soon.
