2013 Hyosungs
Hyosung, flush with investment post their JV with the DSK Group, is now planning on launching two new motorcycles in 2013. The first to come will be the GV650 cruiser, known as the ‘Aquila’ or the ‘Avitar’ depending on the market. With a 79 horsepower, 90-degree V-Twin and sports cruiser intentions, the Aquila has potential. The other product to be launched will be the updated GT650R which has new dual-tone colours options.
Yamaha YZF-R250
Oh yes, the rumours have finally been confirmed by none other than the CEO of Yamaha India Hiroyuki Suzuki (heh) But do note that this is more like an early 2014 entry rather than an 2013-entry but still. Styling is expected to be on the lines of the YZF-R125 sold abroad and the Yamaha R6. Yamaha should bring out a real masterpiece if they’re to uphold their brand image, especially post the KTM 390s coming out next year, which will have fantastic amounts of power at an extremely competitive price-point.
