What with the festive season zooming in, it was only a matter of time before the bombardment of cosmetic updates began. One of the first to begin this onslaught is Yamaha, which has launched limited-editions of their FZ-S and Fazer motorcycles. While carbon fibre rims, fifteen extra horses, and a loud exhaust are not on offer, what you can have is a new paint scheme and all-new, built-from-scratch (okay, enough) logos. Both, the FZ-S and the Fazer will wear a dark blue shade, new graphics and a 'Limited Edition' logo as well.
While the FZ-S remains quite popular owing to its blend of beefy looks, good performance and superb fuel economy, the competition is racing ahead with unforgiving determination and it's only obvious that Yamaha would want to do whatever it takes to boost sales. The FZ-S Limited Edition is priced at Rs 73,030 whereas the Fazer is priced at Rs 78,130 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Nice bikes, both, so you should definitely consider buying either if the Pulsars and KTMs of the world are too violent for you!
