Remember the Hyosung Comet? Well, you can't buy that any more, but the company has tied up with Garware Motors and will make its presence felt soon enough.
Hyosung will initially have two bikes on offer in India - the GT650R sportsbike and the ST7 cruiser to appeal to both the boy racer and the touring fan. The GT650R will come in two variants - one faired and the other naked. And the bike will come at a cost of less than Rs 5 lakh. The ST7 will be priced at less than Rs 6.5 lakh.
Both bikes will be assembled in India and will be seen on the road in the first quarter of 2011. There are also plans to bring the company's range of ATVs to India.
