The Dream Yuga, Honda's much-awaited 110cc commuter motorcycle, has been launched in Mumbai. This is Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India(HMSI)'s first entry-level commuter in the country, considering that the CB Twister (from which the 'Yuga gets its powerplant) was more of a premium offering, given its sporty looks. The Dream Yuga is available in five colour options and 3 variants - mostly different in the starting options on offer (kick/electric-start) - and alloy wheels are standard across all variants. The bodywork is largely sourced from the 125cc CB Shine so it looks good, without any superlative qualities whatsoever - should please the masses, we think. Also, HMSI claims a 72 kpl fuel-efficiency figure for the Dream Yuga, which is more important than any other aspect for the commuter, given the state of fuel prices in the country.
Prices for the Dream Yuga start at Rs. 48,028 going up to Rs.51,678 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and it's out on sale now.
The Delhi prices are as follows - Rs 44, 642 for the base variant, Rs 46,134 for the mid-level and Rs 48,125 for the top-end variant.
Look forward to a riding impression on BSM!
