Honda has launched the VFR1200F sports tourer in India. The bike comes priced at Rs 17.5 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The motorcycle comes powered by a 1237cc, V4 engine which is fuel injected and liquid cooled. The bike produces more than 90 per cent of its maximum torque at 4000rpm and has a fuel tank capacity of 18.5 litres. It is also the first bike to feature Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) technology. The bike also features the throttle by wire system, which ensures seemless acceleration across the engine's rev-range. And in order to ensure the rider stays firmly in place under intense deceleration, the bike has a 'slipper clutch'.
The VFR is available in two colours - Candy Prominence Red and Seal Silver Metallic. And you'll see these bikes on road by the third week of August.
