Mark Webber clocked the fastest time on Day 1 of the last pre-season test session in Valencia. The Red Bull driver declared that his team was n better shape than the other teams on the grid. The Australian said that given the amount of work the team has put in before the start of the season, he really does feel that they have a good chance at a dominant start to the season. Webber went on to say that their goal was to finish as many races as possible because they simply can't afford any DNFs.
While Webber managed a time of 1m 21.487 seconds, second quickest was the Williams of Nico Hulkenberg who was almost a full second behind Webber's time. The other Nico, Rosberg, was third fastest in his Mercedes.
