Hyundai is all set to go green with the unveiling of two green eco-friendly models at Frankfurt. While the ix-Metro will be a concept, a very production ready electric i10 will also be displayed. The i10 is slated for an early 2010 Korea launch with its 49 kW motor and a 16 kWh battery. The manufacturer claims a range of 160 kilometers and a top speed of 130 kph, which sounds very reasonable indeed. Will one come to India? Maybe. We think it might be a good bet at the right price point but is our infrastructure ready?
