Automobile major Eicher-Polaris has launched its personal utility vehicle 'Multix' in Madhya Pradesh. With this, the company has set a target of taking its total dealership in the state to 15.
According to the company, the vehicle is designed to meet the requirements of independent businessmen; there are an estimated 50 million to 80 million such entrepreneurs in the country.
Every feature of the new 3-in-1 Multix fulfils a specific purpose. From comfort to safety, styling to economy, space to electricity, it multiplies utility like no other vehicle. It can accommodate a family of five comfortably.
With its X-Port feature, Multix can also generate 3 kilowatts of electricity, so that you can power your home, water pumps, music systems, winnowing fans, chaff cutters and other essential machinery. It’s not just a vehicle, it’s a powerhouse.
Multix’s body is highly durable and damage-resistant. Its tubular frame is built to withstand most hits, bumps and bangs. Multix’s robust inner frame keeps passengers well protected. With its precise handling, Multix tackles the roughest terrain with ease, making safety a standard fit.
The four-stroke, direct-injection BS III diesel engine delivers a mileage of 28.45 kmpl. The body is made of Flexituff, a highly durable material, resistant to rust and easy to repair at affordable rates.
"At present, we have four dealers in Madhya Pradesh including Indore, Bhopal, Rewa and Shahdol. By December we will raise this number to 15," Eicher-Polaris CEO Radhesh C Verma said during the launch of the vehicle.
Multix will be manufactured at the company's plant in Kookas, Rajasthan. The installed capacity is 60,000 which can be enhanced to 1,20,000 in case of need, he said.
