Bajaj to launch 'Festival of Speed' for Pulsar owners

Bajaj Auto is all set to kick off the 'Festival of Speed', a unique festival for Pulsar motorcycle owners from March 5. The festival, which the company calls 'India’s first speed biking festival' is aimed at giving Pulsar customers a unique experience to indulge in professional track racing.



Touted as India's first speed biking festival, the event will be hosted in Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai, and will include activities like track racing competition, skateboarding, bicycle motocross, stunt show, DJ performances, rock concert as well as gear and accessory shops.

The festival will include some 42 races across the six cities and is open to all customers who own Pulsars with engine capacities of 200cc and above.

Pulsar RS 200 customers will get a special chance to compete for the grand finale after undergoing a full day of professional training from the experts at the Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai.

The winner will not only be crowned the first ever Pulsar Cup Champion, but will also win Rs. one lakh in prize money. Costs and expenses for the top 36 finalists will be absolutely free, and will include travel, stay and training, all to be sponsored by Bajaj.

"Pulsar is the market leader in sports segment and it is our endeavour to evolve the landscape and keep raising the bar of customer engagement. Pulsar is a loved brand and we wanted to create a platform for its loyal customers to experience a world class speed biking fest,” Sumeet Narang, vice-president - marketing, Bajaj Auto said.

The Pune-based company stated that it was looking to physically engage some 40,000 bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts across the country with this event.
