Bajaj Auto Ltd. launched the upgraded Avenger 220 DTSi for the Indian market today. The Avenger 220 gets the 220cc oil-cooled engine from the Pulsar range of motorcycles with the power/torque curve being suitably re-tuned. The bike also comes with a DC circuit that gives it a constant light beam at all riding speeds. Updates such as dual density seating and battery charge level indicator are also part of the upgrade.
