Now here's a car that you need to watch out for! The hybrid electric that we've all been waiting for is finally here. Toyota has launched the Prius in India at the 2010 Auto Expo. The Prius comes priced at Rs 26.55 lakh for the base version and Rs 27.86 lakh for the fully-loaded car (prices ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Toyota has announced that deliveries of the Prius will begin in March 2010.
The Prius comes powered by a 1.8-litre 2ZR FXE engine that puts out 136bhp and is mated to a CVT gearbox.
