What is it?
India's best selling hatchback, that's what. It's no secret that the Swift is one of our favourite cars in this segment and well, it looks like the rest of the country thinks so as well, because it has just surpassed its younger sibling, the Alto, to become the company's best selling car in India. The 1.3-litre diesel mill in the swift is quite a bomb to drive, especially when the turbo comes on, but drive it sensibly and it has the potential of giving you upwards of 20 kmpl.
