road condition. Very suitable for fast bike riding.
2. Scenery along the route very beautiful, especially near Naldurg
fort and the ghats near Lonavala.

This
route is excellent with well maintained pothole-free roads
and decent traffic. I got the chance to do this route while
going to Panvel for Rider Mania 2005. Night riding is also
safe on most of the route. Decent and cheap lodges are available
at near Sholapur, Indapur and Pune. Gives excellent opportunities
to take good snaps especially near Naldurg Fort and the Lonavala
ghats. You get a chance to drive in the 40 km 6 lane stretch
just before entering Pune. A good place for testing your bike
speed limits.

| Roads
from Indapur to Pune outskirts and again from Pune to Panvel
are a little bad. Need to be careful while ripping. Also it
is better if the ghats near Lonavala are done in daylight. |
