It's official! Kimi Raikkonen is making the switch to WRC. Raikkonen will pilot a Red Bull-backed Citroen C4 in the Junior World Rally Championship next year. The ex-Ferrari driver will be partnered by Sebastien Ogier, former J-WRC champion. The two will drive in 12 of the 13 rounds in 2010, skipping the Rally New Zealand.
Kimi, who is taking a sabbatical from F1 after talks to drive for McLaren collapsed, made his WRC debut last year at the Rally of Finland, driving an S2000 Abarth. The deal the Iceman has inked is only for 2010, but there is a possibility that Kimi might return to F1 with Red Bull in 2011.
