Hello and welcome to the all new www.bsmotoring.com. Now, I have wanted to say that for some time now! Though the site has been around for a while we have not been able to allot the kind of attention it deserved and hence this re-launch. We have conceived the new website as a separate identity and would love to do things with it that we cannot or will not with the magazine. So expect more videos, more action photographs and live news on the site. While you can still read most of the BSM reviews, there are news features like ‘Quick Comparos’ dedicated to the website. We realise that most of you out there are genuine enthusiasts as well as opinion leaders and hope we help you win many a coffee station battles.
As a mode of communication, internet is not too dissimilar to print, radio or television when it comes to dissemination of information. But the ability of the net as a tool for commerce is just beginning to be leveraged in India. Effective communication that can lead the audience to consider buying options, research, book or even pay for through the website is a certain possibility. Automotive manufacturers across the globe are looking at the net too. In short we are going to stare into screens a lot more in the near future.
It was important for us at BSM to understand the importance of change. We will be making a conscious effort to write for the net, take pics for the net and doing stuff exclusively for the net. Trust us; if it is fun to ride/drive it will be fun to surf!
