CO2 emission next to nothing for a car giving 13kmpl! Any car giving 15kmpl will produce less CO2 as it will burn less fuel per km. If you care for environment,go for fuel efficient engines.

The new S80 D5 has built on an already impressive motor. The DPF was a market first when it was launched back in 2007 in India. The DPF effectively reduces over 95% of the particles from the exhaust. Apart from the fact that it's C02 emissions are next to nothing, the front grill also has a catalytic coating that breaks down ground-level ozone. And why target Volvo? Even the German giants and the rest of the world are doing their bit to reduce pollution. Ultimately it boils down to the people. Modern, well-equipped cars come at a price - which a majority of the Indian consumers are NOT willing to pay for the environment. Secondly, the Government needs to get their duty structure in order.

There is no such thing as "Dolbu". It is "Dolby". A newspaper of your sophistication has deplorable proof readers.
