Volkswagen will sure go the Fiat way. In the beginning Volkwagen will may sell well because of Polo but in the long run real facts will take over. Since I own a Polo Petrol 1.2L I must make my other friends aware of the problems I am going thru with the car. 1)Mileage is below 9 and not as claimed by the company as 14-15. 2)6 out of 10 Polo cars have pulling towards left side which even after 5 days and 2 nights in service station the company has not been able to rectify in my car as one technician of the volkswagen at Moti Nagar confided in me and told me as this car is left hand drive abroad and has been introduced in India as right hand drive so 6 cars out of 10 have left side pulling. 3)The fuel filter in Diesel car has problem and stops smooth flow of fuel to the engine sometimes. 4)The front wipers of the car cannot be raised as is done in other cars when we clean the windshield of the car. 5)Most important after sales service is very poor and they keep making flase promis

Please check the warranty terms as it is worst you can install even your own music system or not even single bulb or else your warranty would be void

I have been looking forward to Polo diesel for some months now. I had shortlisted on the Punto, I just wanted to know if its worth waiting till June for the Polo diesel and also that there is a slight price difference.

I wish you guys started some kind of a revolt/protest against the whole \'nice car but low-powered teasing game\' that is being going on for quite a long time now. The <1400cc excise rebate either needs to go or be the same for better performing cars. Is it a sin to ask for a better more responsive engine?????? C\'mon we are ready to pay a bit more!!!

Dear Mr. Editor I want to know if there are any laws in India that govern the quality of components that goes into a car. I mean, from the outside everything looks good including a big global name and promise of world class performance, but are the components used by these new entrants into the Indian market stand upto the tall claims. Any foreign car maker looks towards India as an easy market with a \"chalta hai\" attitude and can be dumping their dubious products in INDIA. Shouldn\'t we have some standards like ISI mark etc., otherwise how would I know that a car from a new entrant will continue to perform 2-3 years down the line.

Thanks for a simple and clear explanation of what to expect from the new VW POLO. I've always felt that a 3 cyl engine will show its true colors when it has to climb, but candidly how many times in a decade do we climb steep hills on a small car? (Unless, we live in such an area, in which case, we better look out for a 1.3MJD based car which provides the low end grunt). Overall everyone seems to agree that this POLO is a car built to last, and your first impressions are reassuring. Just waiting to get my hands on one this march.

I have been looking forward to Polo for some months now. Thanks for the quick and decent update and review. It looks awesome...nothing to complain actually...though I expected it to be priced 50K lesser. If they haven't compromised build quality unlike Skoda Fabia, it should be worth it....Will go for a test drive sooooon. :)
