The Fazer is here, people! Today, Yamaha has unveiled the sporty tourer in the capital and from the looks of it, the bike is a show-stopper for sure. Although the bikini fairing looks like a collage of R15 and R6 bits plonked onto an FZ16, the overall result is quite appealing.
Most would agree that the 137 kg FZ16 needs a bit more grunt, but Yamaha feels that the 153 cc, 13.8 bhp motor is good enough to lug around the Fazer as well, this despite it putting on an additional four kilos. Other odds and ends of the FZ like the 'Mid-ship' muffler and the beefy 140/60 sectioned rear tyre remain intact on the new Yamaha.
The Fazer is priced at Rs 72,000 ex-showroom, Delhi and will be available in four eye-catching colours.
