Toyota have been busy this festive season. The Japanese automaker known for its reliable, no-nonsense offerings have opted for a silent launch of the latest iteration of their executive sedan. Called the Toyota Corolla Altis Limited Edition, the manufacturer have decided to focus on offering key upgrades to the cabin in this car. The revisions to the exterior have been kept to a minimum.
The smart link infotainment system on the Toyota Corolla Altis Limited Edition comes with gesture and voice controls. It is also enabled with full smart phone & Bluetooth controls. The door sills are now covered with illuminated scuff plates, puddle lamps that feature Toyota branding as well. The doors are clad in rich wood accents on the inside, with the armrest surrounding the power-window controls getting the same wooden accents. The same wooden finish continues around the gear lever, which together with the black and beige trim makes for a luxurious interior. Top trims get leather seats with limited edition embossing. Special badging commemorating the limited edition can be seen on the rear boot lid with a special badge on the C-Pillar making an appearance as well.
The engine options continue to be the same as before, an 88 bhp 1.4 litre diesel and a 1.8 litre 140 bhp petrol on offer. Toyota offers both, a manual as well as automatic gearbox on the Corolla Altis. The Limited Edition Corolla Altis petrol is priced from INR 16,15,156 (on-road, Delhi) while the diesel version starts from INR 17,60,356 (on-road, Delhi).
