Tata Motors group global wholesales up by 17 per cent in February

The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in February 2016, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 99,842, higher by 17% over February 2015, the group announced on Friday. Cumulative wholesales for this fiscal were at 947,504, higher by 8% over the last fiscal.



Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in February 2016 were 36,170, higher by 15%, compared to February 2015. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for this fiscal were higher by 2%, over the last fiscal, at 346,394.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in February 2016 were at 63,672, higher by 18%, compared to February 2015. Cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for this fiscal at 601,110 was higher by 11%, over the last fiscal.

Global wholesales of Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles in February 2016 were at 11,359, lower by 18%, over February 2015. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were at 121,604, higher by 1%, compared to the last fiscal.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 52,313 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 10,247 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 88,736 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 42,066 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 390,770 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 479,506 vehicles.
