The Tata Aria is now available in three two-wheel-drive variants – Prestige, Pleasure and the newest basic variant called Pure. The 'Pure' is the most basic variant and comes without airbags, without Bluetooth connectivity or steering mounted controls, ABS without EBD, has 16-inch pressed steel wheels, has no GPS, no cruise control and no height-adjustable driver seat.
The Aria 4x2 sheds 200 kgs worth of weight courtesy the removal of the 4x4 system and the mileage figure has improved ever so slightly, going up to 13.7 kpl.
The range now starts at Rs. 11.61 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Pure 4x2 variant, Rs 12.61 lakh for the 4x2 Pleasure variant and Rs.14.26 lakhs for the 4x2 Prestige.
