Suzuki India has launched the Slingshot 125cc motorcycle for the Indian market. Styling is inspired by Suzuki’s international line of high-performance motorcycles while the motor is a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder type. The engine also has a Suzuki Pulsed-secondary AIR-injection system to cut down on emissions.

The bike also gets sharp-looking alloys, with thin blades and Suzuki claim that they’re of the light-weight alloy variety. The motorcycle is, in all probability, based on the earlier 125cc Heat/Zeus motorcycles and will be available  in four colours.

Prices stand at Rs. 50, 949 (on-road price, Mumbai) for the Drum brake/Spoke wheels version while the Drum/Alloy version will be available at Rs. 52,998 (on-road, Mumbai).

Dont knw why people r going for power for a 125cc or 100 cc bike cause even if they have the power they strt vibrating after 70k/hr. So better go 4 a bike which has a good reliability and ride quality...dats wat dis bike meant 4.... if u want power go for the new honda cbr250 or karizma....or p220

8.7 bhp is not that much promising as other bikes in the same segment are delivering around 10 bhp. Less power can be compromised only if the fuel efficiency is more than 70 kmpl.

Better add 50,000 more and purchases a Nano. A basic version of Nano is better than this bike.
