Czech luxury car-maker SkodaAuto today reported a 43.06 per cent growth in vehicle sales, at 1,638 units, in June.
The company had sold 1,145 units in the same month last year, SkodaAuto India said in a statement.
In the January-June period, the company sold 9,814 units, compared to 5,840 units in the year-ago period, up 68.05 per cent.
"We are delighted to see this growth, and extremely positive about continuing this growth trend," SkodaAuto India Board Member (Sales and Marketing) Thomas Kuehl said.
The company currently sells three models in India - the Superb, Laura and Fabia.
