So you think the FZ16 shows too much skin (if there was such a thing!) for your liking? Well, you're in luck because Yamaha is all set to launch the faired version of the FZ early next month. Coming close on the heels of the FZ-S update, the new variant called the Fazer will have a stylish quarter fairing cutting through the air which should make the bike even more comfortable for long-distance trips.

Spy photos show the bike to have the twin R1-like headlights, while everything else remains the same, at least externally. With this bike, Yamaha will complete replicating the big 1000 cc Fazer line-up in India, albeit in 150 cc form. For those who want the real deal, the wait might not be too long either.

We heard a few birdies chirruping about the imminent launch of the big Fazers in India. Proper litre-class bikes with stonking power and everyday ergonomics and an assured service network? Bring 'em on! Hopefully, they'll launch both the versions, the naked and faired ones, and not just one. Doesn't hurt to have options, no?

Nice one yamaha. bt then, people in India dont prefer touring on bikes. and a hardcore bike lover wudnt opt fr a mere 150cc touring bike. besides, hw much this bike would be comfortable for pillion is the question to be answered... Go yamaha go!!!!!

Loved the bike. Fast and Light. However, i dont like the idea of not having kick start.
