Over two years since its launch, the Figo will go through a raft of changes in the next few months. The car that has turned Ford's fortunes around in India, the Figo will get a few tweaks that will help enhance its lifespan.
These photos, taken by an IndianAutosBlog reader are the first to hit the web that show the extent of the changes to the front-end. It includes a possible revised headlamp cluster with new clear-lens covers, a re-designed front grille that should make the Figo appear a bit more butch and mildly changed fog lamp surrounds.
At the rear, the changes are limited to the tail lamps to help the car appear fresh. Reports suggest that there will quite a few changes on the equipment list as well, especially on the Titanium model. While it does get alloy wheels now for quite some time, expect it to also get keyless entry and a Start-Stop button located where the 12 V socket is as standard.
There is no talk of changes to the powertrains, but we expect Ford to make small tweaks to make them even more efficient and improve driveability on the petrol, though these are pure speculation.
Expect the facelifted Figo to hit showrooms before the end of the calendar year.
