Valentino Rossi declined an offer from Jean Alesi to partner him in a Ferrari 430 GT2 car in the 2010 Le Mans 24 Hours.

While Rossi had tried his hand at the Vallelunga Six Hours, finishing third in class, last month, the reigning Moto GP champion has declared that he doesn't want any distractions as he guns for his 10th championship title. But he has declared he would be interested in competing in the Le Mans sometime in the future.

Rossi has said that he was flattered by Alesi's offer, but as the Le Mans is scheduled to run in June, the busiest time in the MotoGP calendar, he won't be able to race. It's for this same reason that Rossi has decided against taking part in the Rally of Mexico.
