Renault has unveiled their new concept car. It's called the Renault Captur, and it's a sporty crossover. The car is powered by a dCi 160 twin-turbo engine-concept that boasts driving fun, and low CO2 emissions.
The Captur, like the Renault DeZir, sports fluid curves as opposed to corners and lines. 'At the same time, the car also displays powerful and muscular all-terrain cues,' says the company press release. The car also has the Renault badge that stands out boldly on the front of the car. In addition to this, matt-finished wings reinforce the design’s visual strength. LEDs relay the direction indicator signal in a wave effect running the whole length of the vehicle.
The concept is fitted with a hard convertible top which, once removed, reveals a carbon fibre framework. The Captur can thus transform itself from a coupé to a convertible, from an urban vehicle to an off-roader. Its overall sporty appeal is reinforced by its butterfly doors and big tyres fitted to 22-inch black and white rims.
