Audi recently unveiled a high-performance version of its A1 city car. The A1 quattro comes with a 2.0-litre TFSI engine that makes 252 bhp of peak power and a healthy 35.67 kg-m of peak torque channeled through a six-speed manual gearbox. To reign in all that power, Audi has fitted the car with its famous quattro all-wheel-drive system. The car comes in only one colour, glacier white, while the roof and some trim pieces are painted black.
On the inside, the A1 quattro gets aninterior to rival the Audi S and RS cars. Features like a flat-bottomed steering wheel, aluminium shift-knob, leather seats with contrasting stitching and brushed metal caps on the pedals are all standard and set this car apart from the other cars in the A1 range. This limited edition Audi is set to hit European showrooms in the second half of 2012 but production will be limited to only 333 units. Talk about exclusivity!
