Nissan’s 6th generation Z car, the 370Z, has been launched today in the Indian market. The Nissan Z cars have quite a reputation amongst enthusiasts and tuners, for having incredible handling and power. Close to 1.5 million Z cars have been sold to date.

The latest iteration of the Z car, the 370Z, is a focused sports car that features a 3.7 litre V6 powerhouse, pumping out 330 bhp. Nissan says it will be their halo car for India, helping build Nissan’s brand image in India. A 6-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic will be offer while the very best of technology such as bi-xenon headlamps, active headrests, SynchroRev Match transmission that automatically blips to the ideal RPM when downshifting and a near perfect 50:50 weight distribution make this quite the driver’s car.

A front-mid engined sports car with rear wheel drive sounds like the perfect recipe for this summer, no? Prices stand at Rs. 53.5 lakh for the manual and Rs.54.5 lakh for the auto, (both, ex-showroom, Delhi).

BSM already has a full driving impression of the 370Z ready for you, all the way from Japan -

I think 55 lakhs is a bit too much to pay for a 370z as my friends say u can always go for a porsche instead.... why does'nt tata come up with a ferrari bashing sports car for around 15 to 20 lakhs... when it can give ppl a car for 1 lakh why not a 2 seater sports car for 20 lakhs??? Tata are you listening!!!!!

RIDICULOUS DISGUSTING HORRIBLE PRICE FOR THE 370Z. WHY NOT BUY A PORSCHE FOR THE SAME PRICE? IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE 33LAKHS(INCLUDING 110% TAX SINCE IT IS IMPORTED) BECAUSE IT IS ONLY 15LAKHS IN THE USA. NISSAN IS ROBBING PEOPLE. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS CAR AT THIS PRICE. THEY ARE OUT OF THEIR MIND. THEY HAVE BECOME GREEDY AND KEPT THE PRICE SO HIGH FOR EXCLUSIVITY GODDAMN IDIOTS YOU CAN BUY A 5SERIES,E-CLASS,PORSCHE,TT FOR THIS PRICE!!
