The new Ford Mondeo has been now made available in Europe with 14 powertrain combinations to order from. The production of Ford’s award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost (the first 1.0-litre petrol engine in the segment) has started priced from £19,995 while the line-up is further extended with a new 210PS bi-turbo 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engine, fuel-efficient new 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive technology for optimised traction and performance.
The new Mondeo will be available in comprehensive four-door, five-door and wagon body-style range with 14 powertrain combinations: 125PS 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol manual 160PS 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol manual and automatic 240PS 2.0-litre EcoBoost petrol automatic 120PS 1.5-litre TDCi diesel manual 150PS and 180PS 2.0-litre TDCi diesel manual and automatic 150PS and 180PS 2.0-litre TDCi diesel Intelligent All-Wheel Drive 210PS 2.0-litre TDCi diesel automatic 87PS petrol-electric hybrid
Ultra-low CO2 ECOnetic models in the form of Ford Vignale Mondeo will debut later this year.

The Mondeo also gets new features such as Active Park Assist with Perpendicular Parking, Dynamic LED headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection technology. So far, Ford has received almost 5,000 orders in the UK for the new Mondeo since the vehicle was launched late last year. Sales of the all-new Mondeo were up 29 per cent year-over-year in January and order take was up 60 per cent as the model is rolling out to Ford dealerships across Europe. 53 per cent of customers are specifying for technologies such as Active Park Assist with Perpendicular Parking, and 44 per cent choosing Dynamic LED headlights. With over 43% of customers opting for it, the 150PS 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engine has proved to be the most popular.
