The most powerful C-Class ever has been revealed! Please keep the pleasantries short, since this is the angriest, maddest Mercedes-Benz AMG you will ever come across. The C63 AMG Coupe Black Series, to give you its full name, is now loaded with a few bits from the bigger, but not necessarily badder, SLS AMG while also getting some more 'original' additions. The suspension is all-new with a rear diff-lock to help whip the last of those horses.It borrows a lightweight crankshaft alongwith forged pistons and a larger oil cooler from the SLS AMG. Also featuring are the Speedshift MCT 7-speed automatic gearbox (which boasts of a race-start function) and lastly, on the mechanical front, the track has been widened by 40mm and 79mm (front and back, respectively) for more agile handling than a standard C63 AMG, if an AMG can ever be called standard, that is.
AMG has taken care of the interiors too by giving it an all-black tone with red highlights. Oh, and before you ask, the rear seats have been shown the way to the door. Focus, focus, focus! AMGs don't get more serious than that. Oops! We almost forgot - the C63 AMG Black now produces 517 bhp (up by sixty horses from the regular C63 AMG) which translates to a 0-100 kph timing of 4.2 secs. And you thought the Germans didn't have a sense of humour.
