Michael Schumacher says Mercedes GP is not yet where they should be

After his first day on track at Barcelona, Michael Schumacher stated that he believes his Mercedes GP team is not where they ought to be. The German finished the test session in seventh place. He did state that the team hadn't tried any low fuel runs, but also reiterated that he believed that wins early on in the season would not be possible. Nonetheless, the German was not discouraged and said the team would continue its hard work. Schumi went on to say that the team was working well together, while testing was one thing, racing was another, and Mercedes GP would have to prove itself on track.

So, who clocked the quickest time at the second day of testing? Nico Hulkenberg managed to do that in his Williams-Cosworth, setting a time of 1m 20.614s. While Hulkenberg denied home hero, Fernando Alonso the chance to finish on top of the timing sheets on his last day of pre-season testing, he dismissed it, saying that P1 meant nothing, and where Williams needed to be on top, was at the season-opener in Bahrain.
