The newly introduced variant has a 2.5 litre m2DiCR engine that produces 75 bhp and 22.4 kgm of torque. The claimed ARAI fuel efficiency is 14 kilometres to the litre.
It also has a start-stop fuel saving system that automatically switches off when you come to a halt and starts the engine again when you take your foot off the brake pedal.
The claimed o-60 kph acceleration figure is 11.2 seconds in the Scorpio which also is equipped with crumble zones for safety and a BSIV emission rating.
