Lighter, more powerful Ferrari California coming to Geneva

The Ferrari California is already a sweet car, but Ferrari just made it a little bit sweeter. The new car will shave 30 kg from the weight of the normal car and also includes an increase of 30 bhp to the output. The power figure now stands at 490 bhp of peak power from the V8 engine. The car now sprints to 100 kph in a claimed 3.8 seconds. On top of that, there is also a handling package called the handling speciale which gets the magnetorheological (quite a mouth full, no?) dampers, initially used on the 599 GTB Fiorano. These dampers plus a quicker steering rack definitely add to the fun. All these new features add a lot to the car without disrupting the soul of this two-seater hard-top convertible.
