Mahindra has launched its new facelifted Xylo that features massive restyling. The Xylo's exteriors now feature a revised black front grille and comes with chrome accents, contoured bumpers, air dams and a new curved bonnet too. The exterior changes go further. The Xylo also has revised headlamps, new body decals and a chin spoiler. The car comes with black roof rails, blackened pillars and a rear spoiler that gives the car a slightly sporty look. There is also a new footstep, chrome-tipped body moulding and a new clear-lens tail-lamp. The car also has new wheel arch strips in the front and rear.

The new Mahindra Xylo also gets an additional E9 variant. Car is powered by the Scorpio's 2.2-litre mHawk engine with 120 bhp and 28.3 kgm of torque. The engine is mated to a new 5MT 320 transmission. The car comes with airbags and ABS standard.

Xylo E9 comes with Italian leather, seat trim. New Voice Command Technology on E9 that switches on headlamps, wipers, opens fuel lid, door locks, etc. Handy, no?! You also receive audio alerts when a safety lapse is detected. New Bluetooth and Cruise Control part of the E9 package. Steering-mounted audio and cruise control, more robust interior door handles, leather wrapped gear knob and a new central tunnel also feature on the E9. All the Xylos get anti-roll bars both in front and the rear.

The Mahindra Xylo now comes in a total of five variants. The D2 and D4 come powered by an mDI CRDe engine, the E4 and E8 come with the mEagle motor, while the E9 features the mHawk powerplant from the Scorpio. The D2 and D4 variants now receive side-facing rear seats.

On the inside, the new Xylo features a two-tone dashboard, stylish new door trim and a glossy wood finish. Additional features such as a laptop charging point for the rear passengers also feature. The car also has a new Digital Drive Aid System that replaces the current system.
