Ford's facelifted Figo has just been launched in Mumbai. While the car features a mild facelift in terms of design, it is definitely distinguishable from the outgoing Figo. The front of Ford's hatchback has been made to look along the lines of the EcoSport SUV, in keeping with Ford's family look. The car also gets new headlamps and foglamps. More additions on the outside include sporty alloys and a mildly revised tail-lamp. The Figo now also features a subtle spoiler.
Ford has also introduced two new colours for the Figo - Bright Yellow and Kinetic Blue. On the inside, there is new fabric and a blue tint on the instrument panel. Steering mounted audio controls are also a new feature on the facelifted Figo. Passenger comfort is also a priority in the Figo now, with improved seating that offers better lumbar support. Ford has also worked on the door sealings to ensure that the cabin is now quieter than it used to be.
In terms of mechanicals, there are minor changes too that aim to improve the Figo as compared to the outgoing car. The gearshift has been tweaked mechanically to reduce the amount of effort required to change gears. While the engine has been calibrated to ensure better pick up.
