Exclusive Motors, official distributor and retailer of Lamborghini cars in India has just launched the Murcielago LP670-4 SV in India.
Priced at Rs 3.6 crore, ex-showroom India, the SV is regarded as the quickest and most powerful Lamborghini to ever go into production, let alone being the quickest and most powerful Murcielago. The last version of the Murcie before its replacement, the Jota hits Indian roads in 2011, the SV is a limited edition model of the big Lambo.
Powered by the same 6.5-litre V12 that powers the LP640, the SV produces 670 CV or 658 bhp, which explains the nomenclature. Gearbox options include the famous e-gear setup or a manual tranny. The wide flared carbon fibre body kit and the reduced weight (by 34 kg) helps propel the 1565 kg supercar from 0-100 kph in just 3.2 seconds. Top speed is measured at 342 kph with the small spoiler or 337 kph with the optional big wing, not that it matters since very few owners would ever get the opportunity to see those speeds in their lifetime.
What really matters is that the car has enough to make it a supercar super slayer. With 245 section rubber at the front and 335 at the rear on 18-inch alloy wheels, this super quick Murcie also gets carbon ceramic brakes and race prepped ABS. There's limited slip diffs at the front and the rear and a standard lift system that is available on every Lambo sold.
On the inside there is enough carbon fibre to keep you excited - including the racing bucket seats that are made of carbon fibre lined with alcantara micro fibre. Eight exterior colour options complete the package, though we'd pick ours in either yellow or matt black (heck reading the colour options is a lesson in Italian mafioisi talk!).
