Undoubtedly one of the best super sports cars on the planet, the Lamborghini Aventador is now here. Okay, so it's a bit of old news, yet we can't help but celebrate it some more.
The Murcielago replacement is priced at Rs 3.69 crore, ex-showroom Delhi and is powered by a 6.5-litre V12, producing 691 bhp and can accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 2.9 seconds. The Aventador uses a combination of carbon fibre and aluminium for the structure, with 70 per cent of the material consisting of carbon composites.
With its scissor doors, a fancy start-button and three driving modes, the Aventador is just as great to drive as it is to look at it. Over 20 units of the Aventador have been spoken for in India while the first 18 months of production has been sold out. Book an Aventador now and you won't get delivery until mid-2013.
The Aventador is currently on sale through Exclusive Motors, New Delhi and Lamborghini's second dealer in India, the Mohan Mariwala owned Auto Hangar. The barchetta or convertible version of the Aventador is expected by end-2012 while a harder, faster version of the Aventador, the SV can be expected by 2013.
