Guys .. Iam a 50 yr old who bought a Ninja 250 a few months back. To the readers who want to know how it works in the city , let me tell you , it works just great and I commute in Mumbai at that. The temp guage will be in the higher reaches and the radiator fan will keep blowing hot air onto your legs but nothing to worry about. It handles Mumbai's multi-level , multi-surface ( sometimes no surface !) roads with aplomb and the low end torque is pretty good infact .. on the highway it is a very able cruiser , able to do 110 - 140 kph all day returning about 27 to 29 kpl. In the past I have owned an 87'RD 350 ( still with me undergoing an extensive makeover ) , a TVS Fiero , a HH Karizma and after the RD , this is the bike that has been able to really get my pulse racing and make me feel young again! Waiting to read the comparo with the new Honda CBR 250R.

Please tell how to ride this bike through Indian traffic with even its first 3 gears. The low end torque is so tuned for western roads that it is difficult to ride on Indian roads. India needs a sport bike with great low end torque as well as top end and with better riding position to ooze through the city traffic.

Indians are buying bike for day to day work. You are ignoring the need and quality of indiand. we Indian want power, speed, style and safety. we want all the above quality which can full fill the need and passion of family. Nacked bike can not prove as a long ress horse. Take lesson from royal enfield style bike. Dr. Sk.Tiwari, Bangalore

Saw this at a pro-biking showroom in a glass enclosure and felt like an 8 year old going around the glass chamber :) In green, it looks absolutely stunning!
