With the second round of the F1 Indian GP just around the corner, the promoters of the Buddh International Circuit, the Jaypee Sports International Limited, have more good news to share. We told you about the FIM World Superbike Championship coming to India earlier and now, the Jaypee group just bagged exclusive broadcast rights for the Indian round.
This four year contract (till the 2016 season) enables them to re-sell these rights to broadcasters for exclusive coverage of the Indian round of the WSBK championship and non-exclusive coverage for other rounds of the championship as well.
With the Indian round of the WSBK Championship is scheduled to take place on the 9th and 10th of March next year, it looks like the Buddh International Circuit could get very busy real soon.
