If you, like us, spent a considerable amount of time on the back bench sketching up newer, faster and meaner looking machines than the ones in the other notebook, while others learned chemistry, you’re in for a treat. The guys at BSM just cannot get enough of it. Our edit meets never start without a motorcycle/hot rod sketch in everyone’s notepad.
And we’re sure most of the motoring enthusiast community does the same. Developer ‘Masters of Chicken Scratch’ (yes, that is their official name) have come up with an iPhone/iPad application that works like an art book, teaching you how to sketch hot rods and such, with guidance provided by 13 professional hot-rod artists. Dwayne Vance, an acclaimed hot-rod and Hot Wheels designer, is one of them. Pretty cool, innit? The only drawback we see is that you need to own some iThing to do this, something the ol skool guys don’t like very much. The app is on the Apple store for $9.99, a small sum considering you’ll get quite a head start on your other hot rod sketching buddies.
