Honda Stunner vs Yamaha Gladiator - 125 not out

These are two of the best 125s in the Indian market today. The Stunner comes with a half fairing which gives it more of a big bike feel than even some of the 150s, while the Gladiator makes do with a bikini number. Both bikes feature alloy wheels and feature excellent colour schemes, though the Gladiator in its evocative RS livery is a wee bit more appealing. Maybe, a Repsol variant for the Stunner would even things out? Anyway, both bikes are light and their engines are eager enough to make short work of the endless traffic jams that you encounter on your way to college or work. The Gladiator's engine/gearbox combination though is way more refined than the Stunner's; for once a Honda is beaten in this regard! The Stunner is a great handling bike over all sorts of roads and you cannot help but wish that it had the Unicorn's 150 cc engine. The Gladiator is also a great handler and it has got better ride quality than the Stunner to boot. And the fact that the Yammie is more frugal and cheaper to buy than the Stunner tilts the balance in the Gladiator's favour.

I HAVE STUNNER And GLADIATOR BUT STUNNER IS BETTER THEN GLADI... BECZ STUNNER HAVE TUBE LESS TYRE GLADI.... NO TUBE LESS TYRE AND STUNNER LOOK IS COOL AND RACING TYPE BYKE GLADIATOR ISNOMAL LOOKING

We have no idea when will the company stops the model of gladiator: as they done to the late gladiator, fazer, libero. At this glance, the spare parts become rare, that the current owners are facing. Their models will; not last long in the market. The most important peculiarity that the Honda focuses is the reduction of back pain to the rider due to their excellent seating position. No other brands can boast of such a thing.

My dear Gladiator: don"t disappear from the market
Posted by AVS at 17th November,2010
Honda stunner is approved even by the UK market due to its reliable performance and milage. The Stunner's low end torque is so great that it can ooze through the traffic at 35 Kmph on 5th gear. Also it does well at highways also due to its efficient 5th gear. The same engine platforn is used in CB shine but with one extra gear and 2 Bhps more thus more refined engine. Moreover the Honda image works great.

stunner is much more powerful than gladiator and has stunning looks where---ssss gladiator looks like a cycle stunner has more enough milege to compete from all 125cc segements and great pick up also
Posted by pratyush DANIEL at 15th October,2010
Gladiator is very cool looking bike in the comparison of other 125 cc bikes as against stunner it is maintanace free bike and successfull in place of HONDA STUNnER

my name mohanraj how to maintain yamaha gladiator bike.
Posted by RR at 1st October,2010
hey guys which is good bike does not matter the matter is how is ur driving skill it becos iam always taking challenges a100ccto100ccbike or 220ccto220cc bike that doesnot matter
Posted by Vijaya Kumar at 31st August,2010
I think YAMAHA Gladiator is more flexible and maintenance free bike than Honda Stunner. I am very much comfortable with gladiator.
Posted by Kosh Raj at 20th August,2010
I am very much impressed with the overall performance of Gladi but still have a fear that this bike also doesnot disappear from the market as the Dinosour used to be. A very unreliable company in Indian market
Posted by chimun at 17th August,2010
the instant pickup of stunner may be a little bit higher then gladiator...... but the top speed of gladiator is 120...i have rode... where as stunner has high speed less then that one..
Posted by shanky dare at 12th August,2010
hey guys to be very practical yamaha gladiator rocks. i think u forgot yamaha rx100 100cc bike known for itz huge performance n pick that yamaha is now with 125cc dont count cc coz rx100 will surely beat pulsar 150 i challenge that technology only yamaha can produce. stunner vibrates n takes lotz of time to cross 95 but surely yamaha does it in lesser time.... well how strong the engine may be of stunner but yamaha ideal top speed is 105 while that of stunner is 95 ..... talking about milage yamaha gives the best milage at ideal condition means at 45 - 50 kmph itz milage is 60 in city ..... we took a race of both in which stunner stood no way around gladiator but yeah surely it gave a good fight .................

Stunner is the best when it comes to mileage and smoothness but gldiator never comes this way. Honda - enjoy the quality
Posted by PT at 28th June,2010
I own Gladiator since Jan'10.Gladi styling, handling, reliability and power is good...downside is frequent gear shifts and mileage...mileage abt 48 in torrid city riding...I guess mileage is the only area where Gladi might loose to Stunner/Shine
Posted by kya at 15th May,2010
i own yamaha gladySS for abt 2yrs...itz really amazin while goin at d speed of 110kmph and above...i really inspired while compare it stunners 101 kmph...
Posted by kran at 15th May,2010
gladiator is the best and stunner sucks.
Posted by raj ankit at 22nd March,2010
i just want too say stunner is much better than gladiator.
Posted by HONDA at 21st March,2010
Gladiator comparitively gives less average as compared to honda $tunner.. the 11 bhp pickup in honda $tunner is awwwsa n gladiator does not evn stand in front of $tunner in term of Pickup and Mielage. And even 1 more thing, gladiator starts shaking n vibrates above speed of 65.. while $tunner is a firm n easily controlable.. n does not shakes evn at the Speed of 100 km/hr. SELF TESTED.....

I would like to purchase 2 wheeler 125 cc bike. is the yamaha gladiator is better in their segments, like discover, shine, glamour, apache, flame. what is avarage of gladiator
Posted by Saravanan at 10th March,2010
I loved Yamaha RX100 but after this there is nothing much to talk about .Glady looks better , but is it safe option considering the facts like Mileage,After Sales Service,Spare parts cost and availability like HERO HONDA . I live in chennai and i dont c much gladiator here give me an idea please ?
Posted by adi at 9th March,2010
No doubt about that \"yamaha gladiator\" is best bike in current 125 cc segments bikes....
Posted by ajay at 5th March,2010

Posted by gagan at 23rd January,2010

Posted by Suman at 21st January,2010

Posted by rohan at 19th December,2009
east or west stunner is best it is d only bike which has spoty looks in afortable price since gladiater no performence no looks it gives 52 to53 km/lit and stunner 58 to 60 thus in every look stunner is best and i think it is d only bike which does not look chep when kept near any yamaha spots bike........
Posted by Rakesh at 14th May,2010
Ever and never stunner is not a sporty bike.all the feature are same only stunner has one more bhp.but gladiator is more stabble even at 90-95 km/hr
Posted by ram at 8th January,2010
if u r buying the bike for riding go for gladi, bcuse stunner is very poor bike with vibration and back pain when long drive or city drive
Posted by sunny at 18th December,2009
stunner does not exceed 78km/hr in plane road
Posted by ravi at 8th January,2010

Posted by vijay at 1st January,2010
try it on a long stretch sticking ur self on to the tank of the stunner... at least the speedo will cross the 100kmph mark
Posted by Anupam at 11th December,2009
Sorry Honda lovers.. The Stunner is beaten every way.. I own a Gladdy 2005 model(Blue).. It ws best 125 then n even now.. Style is much much improved now.. Believe me.. I have not grown bored of it uptill nw.. Its smooth power delivery, revvy n eager engine n equally sweet gearbox makes it a joy ride for years n years.. Decent mileage is an icing in the cake.. The honda, apart fom its half fairing is defict everywhere.. I m a proud Gladdy owner n equally happy rider...!!
Posted by Navin at 10th December,2009
wanna play the game on road no doubt go for stunner, with great acceleration,it goes like a 150cc up to 80 mark,n if u r a good rider u can easily catch the 150cc,the way i am doin on my stunner,at a top speed of 110kmph
Posted by shanky dare at 30th June,2011
just play the game and u will be dissapointed dear ......... go n have a smooth race with gladiator wth a good racer n u wll get it.
Posted by Nilwarad at 6th December,2009
gladi is best thn stnr
Posted by tamee at 3rd December,2009
Hey guys Believe me..Prefer Gladi...Bcoz As u noe Stunner is really good looking but it has got too small engine for huge bike and i hav experienced gear shift problems in it..and yells huge sound while crossing over 60-70..bcoz of Small engine..Its the huge problem..A sporty bike yells for 70kmph..Thtz disgusting..So Stunner is a poor guy's Karizma...Though Gladi is not as attractive as stunner it is bit good performer..So count on it.. ...
Posted by Amit at 24th October,2009
I think honda stunner is good than gladiator.I know that bcoz i have both of tham.
Posted by Abhi at 5th February,2010
If u hav both d bikes..,y do u say " i think"? Say,"i knw". If u dnt knw anythng, dnt jus bluff. Both r bike giants. Bt evry1 knws, yamaha rocks.
Posted by Ashi at 24th October,2009

Posted by DEN at 8th January,2010

Posted by SOUTAM at 3rd September,2009
which will be the best among HONDA STUNNER, YAMAHA GLADIATOR SS, HEROHONDA ACHEIVER? PLS REPLY SOON
Posted by vikram at 26th October,2009
Yamaha Gladiator ss is the best, no doubt. coz its comfortable and its smooth too, honda stunner gives vibration after 60 speed but gladiator doesnt up 85 speed also. gladiator got 140 top speed so its good for ride and speed. although it has less pickup among the bike but in over all its the best....
