Honda Stunner vs Yamaha Gladiator - 125 not out

These are two of the best 125s in the Indian market today. The Stunner comes with a half fairing which gives it more of a big bike feel than even some of the 150s, while the Gladiator makes do with a bikini number. Both bikes feature alloy wheels and feature excellent colour schemes, though the Gladiator in its evocative RS livery is a wee bit more appealing. Maybe, a Repsol variant for the Stunner would even things out? Anyway, both bikes are light and their engines are eager enough to make short work of the endless traffic jams that you encounter on your way to college or work. The Gladiator's engine/gearbox combination though is way more refined than the Stunner's; for once a Honda is beaten in this regard! The Stunner is a great handling bike over all sorts of roads and you cannot help but wish that it had the Unicorn's 150 cc engine. The Gladiator is also a great handler and it has got better ride quality than the Stunner to boot. And the fact that the Yammie is more frugal and cheaper to buy than the Stunner tilts the balance in the Gladiator's favour.

I am very much impressed with the overall performance of Gladi but still have a fear that this bike also doesnot disappear from the market as the Dinosour used to be. A very unreliable company in Indian market

hey guys to be very practical yamaha gladiator rocks. i think u forgot yamaha rx100 100cc bike known for itz huge performance n pick that yamaha is now with 125cc dont count cc coz rx100 will surely beat pulsar 150 i challenge that technology only yamaha can produce. stunner vibrates n takes lotz of time to cross 95 but surely yamaha does it in lesser time.... well how strong the engine may be of stunner but yamaha ideal top speed is 105 while that of stunner is 95 ..... talking about milage yamaha gives the best milage at ideal condition means at 45 - 50 kmph itz milage is 60 in city ..... we took a race of both in which stunner stood no way around gladiator but yeah surely it gave a good fight .................

I own Gladiator since Jan'10.Gladi styling, handling, reliability and power is good...downside is frequent gear shifts and mileage...mileage abt 48 in torrid city riding...I guess mileage is the only area where Gladi might loose to Stunner/Shine

Gladiator comparitively gives less average as compared to honda $tunner.. the 11 bhp pickup in honda $tunner is awwwsa n gladiator does not evn stand in front of $tunner in term of Pickup and Mielage. And even 1 more thing, gladiator starts shaking n vibrates above speed of 65.. while $tunner is a firm n easily controlable.. n does not shakes evn at the Speed of 100 km/hr. SELF TESTED.....

east or west stunner is best it is d only bike which has spoty looks in afortable price since gladiater no performence no looks it gives 52 to53 km/lit and stunner 58 to 60 thus in every look stunner is best and i think it is d only bike which does not look chep when kept near any yamaha spots bike........

Sorry Honda lovers.. The Stunner is beaten every way.. I own a Gladdy 2005 model(Blue).. It ws best 125 then n even now.. Style is much much improved now.. Believe me.. I have not grown bored of it uptill nw.. Its smooth power delivery, revvy n eager engine n equally sweet gearbox makes it a joy ride for years n years.. Decent mileage is an icing in the cake.. The honda, apart fom its half fairing is defict everywhere.. I m a proud Gladdy owner n equally happy rider...!!

wanna play the game on road no doubt go for stunner, with great acceleration,it goes like a 150cc up to 80 mark,n if u r a good rider u can easily catch the 150cc,the way i am doin on my stunner,at a top speed of 110kmph

Hey guys Believe me..Prefer Gladi...Bcoz As u noe Stunner is really good looking but it has got too small engine for huge bike and i hav experienced gear shift problems in it..and yells huge sound while crossing over 60-70..bcoz of Small engine..Its the huge problem..A sporty bike yells for 70kmph..Thtz disgusting..So Stunner is a poor guy's Karizma...Though Gladi is not as attractive as stunner it is bit good performer..So count on it.. ...

Yamaha Gladiator ss is the best, no doubt. coz its comfortable and its smooth too, honda stunner gives vibration after 60 speed but gladiator doesnt up 85 speed also. gladiator got 140 top speed so its good for ride and speed. although it has less pickup among the bike but in over all its the best....
