Last month, Hindustan Motors and Mitsubishi turned their attention towards the popular but ageing Pajero, and after the successful launch of the new model, their attention has turned towards the larger Montero.
For the 2012 model year, the Montero gets new features as well as some subtle changes which will help sales along. This edition of the Montero now comes with a revised front fascia, with a chrome radiator grille, and rear bumper on the outside. On the inside, the panel around the power window switches is now changed as well as the dials in the instrument cluster. The seats are now upholstered in stitched leather. The 3.2-litre diesel engine making 200 bhp remains unchanged under the hood, so you won't find it lacking in motivation.
With the Pajero, Outlander and now the Montero getting their share of the limelight, HM decided to update the prices on the Cedia to give it some attention too. The Cedia now starts at Rs. 7.99 Lakh, Ex-showroom, Delhi.
