DuPont India has launched their new Innovation Centre in Pune in a bid to expand its footprint in the rapidly growing Indian automotive sector by focusing on collaboration with local partners. The primary focus will be on the automotive sector and the centre will act as a collaborative platform for automotive OEMs and system manufacturers to come together.
The key areas for development will be - ‘Lightweight’, ‘Improved Performance’, ‘Sustainability’, ‘Alternative Drive’, ‘Safety’ and ‘Comfort & Design’
“The Collaboration Space in the Center provides an environment for our customers and partners to connect real time with our team of 9500 DuPont scientists, chemists and engineers located in 100 R&D and technical centers around the world. Leveraging the power of DuPont global network, we can work with our customers and partners to meet the needs of the fast expanding Indian automotive industry,” said Balvinder Singh Kalsi, President – South Asia, DuPont.
The DuPont Innovation Centre, Pune is one of the four new development centres planned across the Asia-Pacific region.
